Good day. I'm reviewing/negotiating a contact for a rather large (at least for us) construction project with a private entity.  Their contract wants to incorporate a form titled "Affidavit of No Rights to Claim Lien" to be used with every payment in conjunction with the typical Release of Lien forms. I've never seen this before, and wonder if anyone else has.

The language basically states that 1. No person who provided labor, services, equipment or materials on the project may claim a lien on the property, and 2. All persons who provided labor, services, equipment or materials on the project have been paid in full.

It would seem the Conditional and Unconditional Lien Releases already cover this.  Any thoughts?

    Thank you in advance.
